Dear community,
Is there any interest to have a Snap package created/uploaded every week
from the master branch?
As it would be a non-released package it can only can be uploaded as a
separate netbeans-dev package which shall be private. I'd need to
collect community members to be able to share this package with. I do
not know the entire procedure yet, I have to discuss it with the
snapcraft people, but this is the way they suggested if we would do such
releases.
I plan to wire a weekly job in Apache Build infrastructure which uploads
the binary to snapcraft.io
The benefit of this package: You can live on the edge without any fuss.
The dev version could be installed alongside the release version.
