Kind of de facto since Laszlo volunteered to do it again and everyone responded enthusiastically, my assumption was that he would be the release manager for this release. And I think Laszlo has been assuming the same thing.
However, since this release incorporates his Gradle integration and he's got several items to work on and probably more coming, this could be an oppoprtunity for Laszlo to focus on the Gradle-related issues without being distracted by release management -- though let's see how he responds to this idea.
