Was curious if one/all of you would be kind enough to put this through
scrutiny ;)
Basically we are already using embedded products for testing for other
components (e.g., ActiveMQ for JMS, Jetty for HTTP and now Kafka for Kafka).
I've included the implementation of the actual server and few tests. The goal
is to add more tests, but first I wanted to gather some thoughts/opinions.
P.S. I've done some due diligence and I am not the first one who's done it.
Quite a number of projects have their version of embedded Kafka (including
Kafka guys themselves). Too bad it's embedded version is not productized the
same way Jetty and ActiveMQ
