Safari is certainly supported and I neglected to include it in my original post. Sorry about that. We currently state in the user guide that we support Safari 8. I'll do a little research but I'll likely use a relative version like we're doing with Firefox and Chrome to keep things consistent with the other browsers.
We do not support mobile clients right now. NiFi was designed as a desktop application for building complex data flows. However, that doesn't mean that we can't offer an alternate experience for mobile clients in the future. Maybe something more geared towards monitoring. Something we should consider post 1.0.0 once we're able to incorporate more responsive design elements [1].
