    Understood.  I do think this would be useful to expose publicly for Custom 
UI's that need to interact with the NiFi server side APIs, but that is 
something that could be proposed later, especially in any conversation where 
supporting libraries for custom ui's arise. For now I'll make private and give 
it a more clearer name.
