NiFi Devs, I have taken a first cut at the Release Guide updates mentioned in NIFI-2911 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-2911>, but I'm not quite ready to submit a pull request yet as I think it needs a little more "tender loving care".
If anyone has time to review it and provide any feedback that would be very helpful.
