Max Rows Per Flow File is a property that was introduced fairly recently. I think it was after NiFi 1.4.0/1.5.0. Since yours is NiFi 1.3, the framework doesn’t know/understand it. You can try downloading and using NiFi 1.5.0 version of Hive bundle.
