If you look at the files it's complaining about they're all in a target folder. Those are typically ignored when the maven module is included (i.e. the nifi-hadoop-utils module). When you switch off of a branch that had that, the ignored files stick around (i.e. the target folder). Long story short, you didn't do anything wrong. Just a by-product of doing dev work and you just need to remove the offending files.
