Thanks for kicking off this discussion thread, Bryan. I agree we are reaching a good point to start preparing a release candidate. I see a few PRs up, I'll go through those and if any are close will get them merged prior to a RC.
If anyone else wants to submit a PR in the next week or so I am also happy to review them.
