Hello Everyone, Somehow Apache NiFi 1.16 is already four months old and we've landed just under 300 JIRAs [1] on the 1.17 line. So certainly time and more than enough oomph in place to warrant a 1.17 release. I have seen quite a few asks lately about when we'll do it. So looking at things in JIRA it seems pretty well buttoned up. A few bugs being worked out but with PRs.
Following this cool discussion [2] we now have the ability to build NiFi on ARM/latest Macbooks which is super helpful for many in the community as well. I'm happy to do the RM task. Will take a look at these few bug PRs on Monday and if we're looking good will kick off RC1.
