Went through the following steps:
- Verified hashes and signatures
- Verified git commit hash and tag
- Successfully built NiFi with contrib-check in the following environment:
- Ubuntu 22.04 6.8.0-47-generic
- java 21 2023-09-19 LTS
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 21+35-LTS-2513)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 21+35-LTS-2513, mixed
mode, sharing)
- Apache Maven 3.9.6
- Tested site to site and http communication with MiNiFi C++
Note: the docker build scripts will have to use SHA-512 instead of
SHA-256 hash checks if we only use SHA-512 from now on
