There is a Jira issue that is very important to several users in my
environment; it is a feature that was available in 1.x but went missing in
2.x. Unfortunately, it requires some UI work which fewer community members
typically contribute or review.

The feature is viewing upstream/downstream connections from a component.
This is critical when attempting to determine source/destinations from a
Process Group's input/output ports. It is also invaluable when navigating
complex graphs where connections can span a great distance with several
bend points.

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-14777

While the window may now be too short to complete this for 2.7.0 release
(or maybe not for the right person?) I hope this at least raises attention.

Thanks,
Mark
