Eh, good point Andrzej. I've never used the tool before, but wanted to make sure that if they are deploying some new tool, we have the ability to test it out. I couldn't even test it out without requesting that a "group" for Nutch be added to it, so I just wanted to let people know that I requested a group for Nutch.
But it's certainly possible that it might not be useful in our workflow. In which case, the overhead to create our group that no one uses won't be very much on the tool side, and on our side, we can just continue per usual. Hmm, I may be missing something... but what's the point of using the tool in our JIRA-based workflow? It looks to me like it duplicates at least part of JIRA's functionality, and the remaining part is what we do also in JIRA by convention... -- Best regards, Andrzej Bialecki <>< ___. ___ ___ ___ _ _ __________________________________ [__ || __|__/|__||\/| Information Retrieval, Semantic Web ___|||__|| \| || | Embedded Unix, System Integration http://www.sigram.com Contact: info at sigram dot com ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Chris Mattmann, Ph.D. Senior Computer Scientist NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Pasadena, CA 91109 USA Office: 171-266B, Mailstop: 171-246 Email: [email protected] WWW: http://sunset.usc.edu/~mattmann/ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Adjunct Assistant Professor, Computer Science Department University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA 90089 USA ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
