there is no requirement for you to include pdf, zip, etc in your plugin
includes. If you have a look at the plugins which ship with Nutch 1.3 these are
the only ones required. Tika now handles most other formats. ATM tika handles
flv video format. Avi is not supported. If you wish for this issue to be
supported, you will either need to create your own custom avi parser within
Nutch, contribute to the Tika project, or else wait for the tika
developers/committers to support this format. As far as I am aware this is not
an issue which has been filed under the Tika Jira.
