We have a reasonable amount of time before student proposals are to be formally submitted, reviewed and accepted, however I would ask you to review the ticket, add your suggestions there and join the Giraph community mailing lists to see what kind of development is going on over there. Mail traffic is not too high so any questions you have will be answered. You can probably also open a wiki page either in Nutch or Giraph to document your literature and code review and of course your intended project execution plan. This would be great. Thank you Lewis
