Hi Markus, shouldn't the command for trial 3 contain -deleteGone:
for file in `hadoop fs -ls sitesearch/segments/unfetched | grep segments | cut
-d / -f 7 | sort` ; nutch solrindex crawl/crawldb .../$file -deleteGone; done
