Sebastian Nagel commented on NUTCH-1413:
----------------------------------------
[~markus17], the title is somewhat ambiguous:
(1) time/date the fetch took place, or
(2) time spent for fetching (addressed by [~talat]'s patch)
[~talat], is it really necessary to change the storage layout by adding a new
column?
The response time could be added to field "metadata", or for 1.x to
CrawlDatum's meta data.
Solutions for 1.x and 2.x then would be similar.
We should also think about making this optional/configurable. Often you don't
care about the exact response time because of a rather strict network timeout
(property {{http.timeout}}).
