Sebastian, you're right. In our own IndexerMapReduce this block is below the 
null checks

    if (fetchDatum == null || dbDatum == null
        || parseText == null || parseData == null) {
      return;                                     // only have inlinks
    }
{code}

By mistake i put it above this check in Apache Nutch. I will post a new patch.
