Hi [~alparslan.avci], yes your code is a cleaner solution than the one I had.
I did not get change to re-develop and upload my patch for this issue but it
looks like you've addressed most things now.
I'm actively running this against Cassandra 2.0.7... there are some problems
with my stack though as I've _just_ moved on to using the JDK 7 as required by
Cassandra... however it seems somewhere/somehow this causes a conflict int he
stack with Mac OSX. That is environment specific though and I cam trying to
come to a solution ASAP.
