Parse-zip porting?

Hi,

I was wondering whether there is active development efforts for porting 
the parse-zip plugin to Nutch 2.x? The JIRA issue for it is NUTCH-874 
and there hasn't been much updates on it lately. Is there any ongoing 
developments?
