Ok. I'm okay with that.
We do have to avoid making this a habit, however. In this case, we are
talking about an obscure and little know requirement that is not
critical to the overall coding standard.
However, I take responsibility for the faux pas, I forget that it was in
the coding standard myself when I did the merge.

BTW: You were wondering sometime back what the plural of faux pas is.
I checked -- it depends on if you are thinking English or French. The
plural in both English and French is spelled the same as the singular.
But in English the plural is pronounced differently: The terminal 's'
is pronounced (but not in French).
