The "imply BAZ" method seems like a way to have a permanent solution to this.I'll try to track this down. If I do that, is it something that can would be accepted as part of a PR?
I don't see why not. 'imply' is only available in the newest version of Kconfig-frontends so it is possible it could break something for people using old kconfig-frontends.
But the newest version is several years old (it is no longer being supported), so the risk is low
