Yes it is possible.  Most of the configurations should work on any board.
For special configs, if there is an external device required, then
that has to be there of course.
One other thing to note, is the different modules, this would affect
the presence or not of a PSRAM, its size and the size of the flash.

BTW the ESP32-D0WD is somewhat old and not recommended for new
designs.  Better use the ESP32-D0WD-V3.
