NXPlayer has an audio tone option to play tones, but no underlaying code hooks for it.
Prompted by someone else's question today, I was thinking of looking at the Audio Tone Generator in "Device Drivers | Audio Device Support" to see if it could be adapted to output to a /dev/audio/pcm driver, and/or hooked into NXPlayer. Unless I'm missing something and this is already available somewhere/somehow?
