Yeah, I understand people might not like it, and I respect that. I would also encourage support it in NuttX.
There already is a limited Rust support in NuttX, see https://nuttx.apache.org/docs/latest/guides/rust.html. Personally, I'm absolutely fine with it as long as it stays away from the kernel. :)
