Yes.   That's something we discussed during ApacheCon.  We underestimated
the time it would take to migrate to the BART branch.  The plan now would be
to do a release off the 1.1 branch, and then focus our efforts on the trunk
towards a 2.0 release.    Maciej has started working on merging the
1.1O-model into the trunk to make this happen.   I'd say we'll likely
have a
stable trunk within a month or so, at which point we would freeze the new
O-model before we get into non-trivial changes required for SimPEL and
possibly native REST support.
