Hi All, I have created a wiki[1] page which will be used to gather requirements and track the progress of development. First of all I would like to get some feedback from all of you in the development community about the management and monitoring console. Please feel free to add/edit the wiki[1] if you have any new ideas or if there are any mistakes in current requirements (Current requirements listed on the wiki page is what Tammo proposed in a earlier mail to dev list).
I hope to break down these requirements to different sections according to their relevance with different functionalities need (Say we have requirement to deploy BPEL bundle though the console, these type of things comes under deployment section and deployment section comes under Management section). This categorization will help us to design the storyboard for design of the web based console. I am planning to use pure web services and AJAX based architecture to implement the management and monitoring console. ODE has management web service built into it and I think adding new services according to our requirements and implementing it based on pure web services based architecture will make our life easier when considering the flexibility and maintainability. I'll send a detailed diagram describing the above architecture to the developer list ASAP. Please be kind enough to add your suggestions to this thread.
