Hi everyone, Dave Carver [0], the maintainer of XSL Tools at Eclipse is working on integrating and relicensing a LGPL library named PsycoPath [1]. That library is currently licensed as LGPL and available on sourceforge [1].
Dave is planning to run it against the W3C Test Suite to bring it up to full compliance. The advantage it has over Saxon is that PsychoPath 2.0 is schema aware while the open source version of Saxon is not. There is a thorough report (PDF, 100 pages) about the library regarding its compliance with the XPath standard available on Sourceforge [2]. The discussion about this library is going on on the Eclipse Bugzilla [3]. Feel free to join. I think this would make a good XPath processor for ODE.
