we have discussed this feature on the maillist, but as far as I know, we
haven't started working on this yet.

In the RiftSaw, we just start working on this clustering feature, the design
wiki is at (is still working in progress)

between RiftSaw-ODE and ODE code base is we've already put jpa refactoring
into RiftSaw codebase.
We prefer to working on clustering feature based on jpa refactoring work.

we plan to contribute this clustering work back to ODE once we've finished
this feature over RiftSaw-ODE, not sure if you are interested in this?
