But then you loose the efficiency benefits of the inter-process mechanism - so
there may be other reasons to have such a switch, but I don't think it should
be necessary to disable the inter-process comms just to be able to intercept
all of the messages.
However, if it is a 'quick fix' to include such a switch, then I would be happy
for the feature to be added as a short term solution :)
