As an adjunct to that and as someone looking forward to a stable release, is the naming convention for the release mentioned in the report put to bed?

<opening can of worms>
Will it be
      Apache OFBiz 4.0
      Apache OFBiz 7.04
      Apache OFBiz 4_STABLE
      Apache OFBiz 4_RELEASE
</opening can of worms>

Coming from a OS (FreeBSD) that has development that works identical to this project (continual, not completely dependent upon upstream engineering/packaging), I like the _RELEASE style naming convention. I'd even suggest we have some sort of patch nomenclature, so that all the security patches applied to the release version be visible from a running instance, and be [ documented | easy linked from the home page] as to what is fixed for each patch.

Okay this is getting long.

Does this need to be a jira issue?
