Actually we very explicitly like them together. It clarifies the purpose of the
dev mailing list, ie it is for development of OFBiz and beyond high level
discussions most of that goes through Jira issues. They are redundant, but
fortunately humans are good at identifying and filtering on such.

Thanks Jacques,
How I did not did this before? ;)
Well I have found that actually I did (I have a filter configured in
Thunderbird) but it was not properly configured, now it works.
I guess that with this solution, the work needed for setting up a new
mailing list is not worth.

Daniel,
I'm not against, personnally I filter on the object. If it contains
[jira] I put the message in my Jira directory. So I have no problem a
all wih the current solution.

Hi all,
Would it be desirable/possible to crate a new mailing list for the
JIRA
issues and keep this list for the general discussion?
IMO jira messages are more specific and redundant than the general
discussion messages and it would make sense to keep a list apart for
them.
What do you think?
