Hi,

For the moment the demos instance are reloaded when a change has been produced
by the Docker GitHub action.
Unfortunately I had to create https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-27276
yesterday

Anyway sometimes it would not be sufficient. A manual reboot is necessary. See
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-23637

This is a good question, Eugen.
When I checked yesterday, all instances were serving a certificate with an
expiration date on September 25.

Hi all,

The certificate for our demo instances expired today. I don’t recall the
exact workflow for renewing it, but I believe last time Jacques contacted
Infra.

Could someone help or provide some guidance on how we should proceed?
Which demo instance?

I tried the sable and trunk URLs from here:

https://demo-stable.ofbiz.apache.org/ordermgr/control/main?USERNAME=admin&PASSWORD=ofbiz&JavaScriptEnabled=Y

https://demo-stable.ofbiz.apache.org/ordermgr/control/main?USERNAME=admin&PASSWORD=ofbiz&JavaScriptEnabled=Y

I checked the certificate and we are using LetsEncrypt .
The cert was renewed on August 26.
So the only way it was displayed as expired is if the app that loads it
did not restart / reload the certificate and was still using the old one.

Are the apps reset+restarted periodically so they pick up new certs?
