Hans,
One of the quirks with the custom xml file format is you have to have the
"fallback locale" in the xml file. See the note in
framework/common/config/general.properties: locale.properties.fallback property.
You'll need to include the existing EcommerceUiLabels.properties in the xml
file using xml:lang="en".
The work you've done so far looks great!
