A lot of things look ugly in IE - tell Microsoft. ;-)
Seriously though, these things are easy to fix, but it takes time and
effort (and attention to detail).
There is a Jira issue open for IE7 layout issues -
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-1758 - but it isn't seeing
much activity.
