Payment Net Days vs Payment Net Days Part 1 / 2 / 3

I was wondering if anyone could clarify the difference between these  
different term types...

"Payment (net days)" is of a term type: FINANCIAL_TERM
while

"Payment net days, part 1"
"Payment net days, part 2"
"Payment net days, part 3"

are of the type: FIN_PAYMENT_TERM, which is a subtype of FINANCIAL_TERM.

I did a full text search for the "part 1 / 2 / 3" term types, but  
couldn't find any usages in the project to help determine what they  
were.
