This is more get me up to speed questions. 1) do we not have a transaction file used already? 2) Should not this transaction file be the one that has adjustments as well as entries in it? 3) is the temporaries like importing a online banks statement to reconcile against the transaction file? In other words temporary storage of external data the would be reconciled against the Transaction file before it is added to the GL accounts.
