I wonder if we should not have something like rounding arg in ofbiztransform 
for 
retVal = UtilFormatOut.formatCurrency(parsedRetVal, isoCode, locale, 10); // we 
set the max to 10 digits as an hack to not round numbers in the ui

WDYT ?
