I'm in favor of being able to extend existing menus (in place) but I'm not sure
about using an entities to track them. Perhaps we could add a new
widget-resource tag to the ofbiz-component.xml files that reads the extensions
at startup?
Slightly off topic but another thing I've wanted to be able to do for a while
is to extend controller.xml files in the same manner as this.
