webtools xml data export to browser not working

Assumption, demo data is installed.
Steps:
1) Select webtools
2) Select XML Data Export
3) Select "OR to Browser"
4) Select an entity
5) Click export
6) Click Click Here to Get Data (or save to file)
Empty screen is shown.
In the console, the following is seen:
