here is a first proposal for this issue.
Jacques your right, this wasn't the easiest bug, i had to rebuild/rethink the
lookup layer model.
I know there are a few bugs in the layout, i will fix it soon.
This patch should only be for functional testing purposes, maybe someone can
review it ;)
