Ruth I would like you to stick around.
Though I have my own flavor ofbiz, I believe in a central place to deal with ofbiz. From the response on the Dev list I see others that have the similar outlook but want it done in the Apache ofbiz.

My view point is an Integrator. I have a business that ofbiz plays a key role in, however ofbiz is not the reason for generating my income, it is a tool.

Even though I have had a negative response with some of the PMC and committers, I keep providing input and have a few that will work with me.

Keep trying I am sure you will also be able to give valuable input.

Anyone out there interested in forming a new OFBiz community dedicated
solely to making OFBiz better, please feel free to contact me at
[email protected] or [email protected]. I'm talking about a
group of people who wish to see OFBiz become the premier open source
ERP, e-commerce and enterprise development platform imaginable.

IMHO, there are a few things that need to be done - that are not getting
done here - to take OFBiz to the next step. These include, but are not
limited to:

* Packaging
* Release management tools
* Test suites
* And of course, my favorite, documentation

Such a community would foster business and industry outreach (including
soliciting of requirements) and make marketing of OFBiz to industry a
primary objective.

If there is enough interest out there I'll work on next steps.

Regards,
Ruth Hoffman
