Jacopo Cappellato commented on OFBIZ-3948:
------------------------------------------

Jacques, Adrian, I think I understand what you both are writing and both point
of views make sense.
However I think we should elect a primary language for scripts (and this should
be Groovy) for all ootb components and only use other languages when Groovy is
not a good fit. Of course the framework will support other script languages,
that can be used to build custom components, but the standard components should
all be consistent; at the moment the primary languages should be:
Minilang/Java/Groovy/UEL

What do you think?

> Replace all other uses than Groovy (UEL and BSH) by Groovy in widgets and
> minilang

> This issue [follows this
> thread|http://markmail.org/message/hx3hztjpgsf4q745]. For instance those
> {code}" {code} and such in use-when are ridiculous.
> So we would replace UEL and BSH by Groovy in widgets and minilang
