The patches in OFBIZ-5420 contain changes that allow virtual products to be
appended to order items. I will create new patch from those patches in
OFBIZ-5420 but without the bad code (BOM pricing and variant selections).
The patches in OFBIZ-5420 extends productdetail.ftl page to appear just as it
does when adding virtual items to orders that have not yet been saved.
