Christian Carlow commented on OFBIZ-5502:
-----------------------------------------

Hey Jacques,

The page for the production run you created has screenlets that list mandatory
and dependent production runs. When records exist, their links don't load
their production run pages. The Production Run "Assocs" tab also contains both
mandatory and dependent screenlets and it would be much easier to reproduce the
issue if Assoc records could be created from that page. I'm wondering if I
should create a JIRA issue to allow for this or if there is a rule that would
manual associations to production runs?

Instead, you have to define a BOM and assign a routing to each of the BOM items
with the "Product Link" of the routes. I think you should be able to assign
the DEFAULT_ROUTING to all of the products involved to make a GZ-BASKET with
"Product Link" and then create a production run for GZ-BASKET which should
create dependent production runs for the individual elements when "Create
Dependent Production Runs" option is chosen.

There isn't enough open/free documentation out there on configuring
manufacturing data for mandatory/dependent production runs so I've been
gathering content to post on the wiki related to the subject.

> When clicking the links associated with madatory or dependent production
> runs, the corresponding production run page is not loaded. This means its
> required to go back to the production run search page and lookup the
> productionRunId manually. I think the links should load the corresponding
> production run page when clicked.
