I don't know what you mean by integrated. Maybe you are thinking of the code I
provided above, which is not in my patch. I used the same design as that code,
but I retained the SequenceUtil hard-coded SQL and JDBC API calls.
I was able to achieve the same elapsed time as Jacopo did with the current
implementation.
