Jacques Le Roux commented on OFBIZ-5805:
----------------------------------------
OK I could commit your improvement with a property. I checked even in the SEO
branch (see OFBIZ-5312) we use the jstree and have no other means to list the
sub-categories in it...
But I think that we should rather get rid of the js tree implementation which
has been done at http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revision&revision=1128983.
Unfortunately I just tried and got much conflicts (that's already quite old). I
though still suggest that rather than using your noscript block workaround you
might try to merge back r1128983, resolve these conflicts and see if it's not a
better solution for you. We could then consider to discuss on the dev ML to get
back to the previous categories tree implementation...
This said if you want a better SEO product you should look at the SEO branch.
You can check it out and compare it wih trunk. You wll see there are not much
changes and they are interesting for SEO OOTB. It's merged every week, some
others already use it...

> Robots cannot browse categories, for they don't evaluate/execute jquery/ajax
> category listing.
> This has serious consequences for ecommerce - google cannot index products,
> webmaster tools can generate full sitemap.xml, etc.
> All they see is what is in promo category.
