Then I wonder (hope) if it will be possible to get back the associations between the commits and the version as I asked for at INFRA-8903. Hopefully
infra has backups for that, though it's unlikely...

Is it possible that you selected the "Delete" option instead of the "Archive"
option? This is the only thing I can think of that may have caused this. But we will see what Infra
has to say.
