By the way, to inform the users about the removal of the specialpurpose components we could have added (if not there already, I don't remember)
a Jira ticket with the proper fix version so that it will appear to the release notes.
And it doesn't help that we do not have the release notes anymore... Jacques, please try to figure out what you did and what went wrong and
resurrect them.
I thought about that, if you look at
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+Versions#ManagingVersions-Deleteaversion
it says
On <<the 'Delete Version: <Version>' confirmation page. From here, you can specify the actions to be taken for issues associated with the version
to be deleted. You can either associate these issues with another version, or simply remove references to the version to be deleted.>>
If I have had a "fat finger" it would have lead me to confirmation page, and then I'd have be warned. I'm absolutely sure I never got to this
confirmation page, or then I was really out of my mind, and I really doubt it. BTW I just tried by using the SlimDown version and I clearly don't
remember to have ever seen this confirmation page!
I have again asked infra if something is possible at
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-8903

I randomly checked OFBIZ-254 and OFBIZ-5711. It seems I actually made an error the 23/Oct/14 at 13:24 where I'd have deleted the 13.07.01 version
and moved the issues to the Release Branch 11.04 version
This is something I can't understand, but it was obviously done. I will see later If I can find a way to move back the concerned issues (at max
181) to a new 13.07.01 version I will create :/
Jacques
There are only 61 issues concerned. I still don't understand how it happened and I'm not yet sure how to revert it, but it's at least doable by
hand...
I think it's ok now, all done "by hand" (helped by Jira bulk actions) so could
be some errors
We have now this, please check
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=12310500&version=12329159
I put it on the site. I don't see any issue about the specialpurpose removing
and I can't remember one either
