Sebastian Wachinger commented on OFBIZ-4075:
--------------------------------------------
Adrian,
thank you very much for this precise information, which really cleared that
matter up for me eventually! After I disabled IPN in our PayPal account, the
Express Checkout started working properly without issues (we still do not
receive order confirmation emails to the admin though, as opposed to other
payment methods).
Now it may be just my notorious slow-wittedness, but even after most diligently
researching this matter for a long time I did not find this solution or this
concise explanation you gave me. So maybe it would be a good idea to embed this
bit of information in the
[documentation|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBENDUSER/Apache+OFBiz+Business+Setup+Guide#ApacheOFBizBusinessSetupGuide-payPalPaymentSetup]?

> Pay pal had many interfaces.
> Ofbiz started with IPN https://www.paypal.com/ipn
> Then went to Express check out but changed the IPN code.
> finally we have NVP API.
> so I am creating an IPN interface that goes back to 777794
> I am not familiar enough with express and NVP it they are separate or not.
